Whole or split? Whole antlers are the toughest and last longest, best for determined power chewers. Split antlers have the softer center exposed, so they're a better start for gentler chewers or dogs new to antlers.

Sizes: Small for 1 to 15 lbs, Medium for 15 to 35 lbs, Large for 35 lbs and up. When in doubt, size up. Your dog should be able to hold the antler in their paws and chew one end.

Chew safely:

• Supervise chew time, especially for power chewers.
• Take it away once it's worn small enough to swallow.
• Not for puppies with baby teeth, or dogs with loose, broken or missing teeth.
• Check with your vet if you have any questions.
